Scores: The Tom Brady Revenge Tour Begins The Patriots quarterback returns today from his four-game Deflategate suspension. First stop: Cleveland. === Take a player of nearly incomparable talent, drag him through a seemingly endless court process, and then make him sit out his team’s first four games of the season because of an incident that occurred two years ago. Mix all that together and you get the Brady, who has always thrived when he feels wronged, will take over a team that managed to go 3-1 in his absence despite relying on the inexperienced quarterback duo of Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett. If not for injuries to both players, they may have gone 4-0. With Brady back, the team can unpack the rest of its offensive game plan, relying less on LeGarrette Blount to bulldoze the team to victory, and more on a balanced approach. That combination would be hard for any team to handle, but could be especially ugly against a Cleveland defense that gives up 378 yards per game, and has allowed each quarterback they have faced this season to throw at least two touchdown passes. Here’s who we think will win this week Elsewhere: ■ A week after the Atlanta Falcons offense morphed into a video game in a blowout win over Carolina, they will have a much stiffer test against a Denver defense that is the best in the league for a second consecutive season. Meanwhile the Broncos will be starting the Paxton Lynch era earlier than expected, as quarterback Trevor Siemian is unavailable. ■ Just like the Vikings and Broncos, the Eagles try to stay unbeaten this week, and Carson Wentz tries to continue his incredible streak of passes without an interception. He and Dak Prescott of the Cowboys are proving to be experts on ball security, with Wentz currently 102 passes into his career without an interception and Prescott doing even better, with none in 131 attempts.
