But among them will be chefs (like Dan Kluger) opening their own restaurants for the first time. Adam Leonti, formerly the chef de cuisine at the highly regarded Jared Sippel, whose résumé includes the culinary magnets Anne Burrell, a Jeanne Mélanie Delcourt was a chef at the Michelin-starred Camélia and other Paris restaurants. She and her husband, Xavier, are moving to New York to open Le Caméléon, which she described as a “very French bistro” with food that’s traditional and contemporary.
